Bharti’s Journey: From Adversity to Aspiration

Bharti lost both hands below the elbow in a childhood accident, leaving her future uncertain. Everyday tasks became challenging, and she struggled with dependency.

Her life changed when she joined USR Indu Samiti, where she:

  • Learned essential life skills and gained independence.
  • Discovered her passion for art & craft.
  • Completed 12th grade and pursued higher education.

Now, Bharti is pursuing a Master’s in Fine Arts at Kurukshetra University and teaches art & craft to children. Her dream is to open her own art studio, providing training and employment to aspiring artists, especially those with disabilities.

"With determination, no challenge is too great to overcome."
